Prior to moving to 160 Broadway, my office was located at 5 Beekman Street. All the tenants were evicted in 2000 and the building has been pretty much vacant ever since. I pass this old edifice daily and now, it appears that they owners have been to work.
The Gothamist has posted photos of 5 Beekman. The building itself is an amazing feet in architecture, but it has fallen into disrepair. Now it appears that it will made into a luxury hotel. Check out this image via The Gothamist/Sam Horin
