Techcrunch reports that the first lawsuit has been filed against Apple over its controversial undocumented location database. In case you missed it, your iPhone has been tracking your every move. Not only has it been tracking where you are, but where you have been. Yikes!

It comes as no surprise that a quick, nearly instantaneous lawsuit has been commenced. Aaron C. Meyer, Esq. of the Mayer Law Group gets the prize for moving first. Congratulations! What a perfect lawsuit. All a lawyer has to do here in New York is approach a hipster in the subway to find a potential client.

I have read the complaint, which you can read for yourself and my initial impression is that the lawsuit is premature. It is not exactly clear how Apple broke any law.

What do you think of Apple tracking the movements of its iPhone users?
